Bénédicte & Stéphane Tissot D.D. Arbois Poulsard Blend 2014 (1500ml)

$60

This is a bright and juicy blend of Trousseau, Pinot Noir and Poulsard. The fruit here is all destemmed and the wine is made without any pump overs or punch downs, aged large neutral oak and bottled without fining, filtering or added sulfur. What you get is an elegant and imminently drinkable wine that always leaves you wanting another glass.

Very good. Good red fruit and minerality and fruit finish and shows like a more complex trousseau. Easy to gulp.

Arbois Rouge 2014 DD Brightly fruity, spiced plum, raspberry but without depth. Earthy, meaty, green vegetal notes. Poulsard Trousseau & PN. Good upfront but overtly funky on the finish. Needs charcuterie. Light black pepper, Earth. Good drinking style. 85

A soft and fragile cork disintegrated upon opening to reveal a badly oxidized wine.

Wine expression of dutchess de bourgogne & tomato-qualities of SL-28. Weird, yeasty and good slightly chilled.

Cranberry nose and quite a bit of Brett. Very fresh and appetizing. Red fruit mostly - red currants/cranberries plenty of tannins. I have to go with Jimmy here - lacks depth. Note: In the past i was a huge fan of this winery lately they have lost it - avoid in the future?
