100% Carricante from high altitude albarello (andldquo;little treeandrdquo;) trained vines. Powerful and racy with hints of white flowers and honeydew melon all with a mouth-watering saline finish. Carricante is indigenous to Etna and this is a perfect wine to get acquainted with this noble variety.

Pale straw. Open knit, very clean pear, peach and nectarine aromas, with strong floral undertones. Easygoing and subtle, with flavors of pear, apple, mint and minerals, and a lightly tropical quality. Nicely persistent on the juicy finish. (Ian D'Agata, Vinous, August 2019)
