Another 4th Friday for the books! Insane pulls this month to follow up the most epic month (April) that we’ve ever had! Tonight, this showed some similarities to the Marcassin Pinot, with a touch less punch on the mid palate. The complexity here was awesome...oregano, rhubarb pie, ripe cherries. Acidity is still fairly dominant, but not overbearing. For my style, this is in its ideal drinking window.

Love it/hate it Pinot if there ever was one. 15.8% alcohol, which makes it anathema for a lot of people. But damn it's delicious. Interesting.

A bit over the top for my liking but still very good. Excellent for a gang bang

Nicks and scrapes on the label didn't impair the taste of this powerful #aubert #pinot

Magnum 2007 Aubert UV Vineyard Pinot. The first red wine we drank at our group dinner at 2B/1S and the only pinot of the night. Predictably jammy, fruity, and delicious.

Wow! Performing great. Right in its wheelhouse. Deep, full body, concentrated fruits. Beautiful, long, velvety finish.

Terrific pinot from Mark Aubert. Classic, balanced Sonoma Coast pinot that's just beginning to acquire some secondary flavors. Can't imagine it getting any better, so drink it if you've got it!
