Tasted along side of the '98 Insignia and '97 Dalla Valle. Congrats to the Araujo, the winner! Jammy dark fruit structure starting to weaken (as was the case with all three). The nose was complex w/ dark fruits, licorice and herbal notes.

Very pretty classic California cabernet, pure fruit with just a touch of pyrazines with air bringing complexity, it could use a little more structure but is otherwise in a very good place.
