Antoine Graillot & Raúl Pérez Encinas Bierzo Mencia 2016

A collaboration between Northern Rhone stalwart Alain Graillot's son, Antoine, andamp; Raul Perez. The Mencia comes from 3 different sites, including the Rapalao vineyard in Valtuille de Abajo, considered one of the best in the Bierzo appellation. This is fermented whole cluster in cement vats like they do chez Graillot. It has lots of crunchy red fruit and floral notes.andnbsp;Itand#39;s a firmly structured wine up front and will benefit from a quick decant. A good match for burgers and other grilled meat.
