Leflaive x Grolleau. Super interesting. Unlike any Grolleau I've ever had. Not grape-ey or beaujolais-like, but firm, tannic, and (most likely) age-worthy. It's probably not worth $50 retail but is the best and most shining example of its kind. #decantthis #leflaive

My first non rose Grolleau. Wound up but I can see the potential.

Everything I read about the grape says bland, boring, avoid... not this wine. Loads of character- bubbly fruits, lite tannins, nice acidity, earthy, deep color. Nothing wrong with this grape (when worked by Anne Claude at least)

My first Grolleau, I think. Hearty, rustic, balanced and persistent. Excellent stuff. No surprise given the producer.
