Ameztoi Rubentis Getariako Txakolina Hondarrabi Beltza Hondarrabi Zuri Rosé Blend 2020
Thisandnbsp;lively little rosandeacute; comes from a 5th generation grower in the town of Getariaandnbsp;just outside of San Sebastian. The native red andamp; white grapesandnbsp;Hondarribi Beltza and Hondarribi Zuriandnbsp;are co-fermented and bottled under screwcap with a little bit of spritz. This wine delivers all the thirst quenching qualities we like in rosandeacute; with an intrigue that can be rare for the category. Itand#39;s become especially popular over the last few years so weand#39;d advise stocking up for the warmer months early before we run through our allocation.

Shimmering orange-pink. Pungent cherry and red berry scents take on floral and spice nuances with air. Shows silky texture and good depth to the zesty red currant and bitter cherry flavors, which turn sweeter through the midpalate. Nothing spectacular about this wine, but I will say that as someone who doesn’t enjoy rosé normally, this isn’t terrible. Drinks more like a white wine than a rosé. Creamy, almost buttery front. Notes of underripe strawberry & tart raspberry. Citrus acidity that comes across as almost a lemon/lime or yellow/green apple. Good pairing rosé.
