Ameztoi Rubentis Getariako Txakolina Hondarrabi Beltza Hondarrabi Zuri Rosé Blend 2016
Thisandnbsp;lively little rosandeacute; comes from a 5th generation grower in the town of Getariaandnbsp;just outside of San Sebastian. The native red andamp; white grapesandnbsp;Hondarribi Beltza and Hondarribi Zuriandnbsp;are co-fermented and bottled under screwcap with a little bit of spritz. This wine delivers all the thirst quenching qualities we like in rosandeacute; with an intrigue that can be rare for the category. Itand#39;s become especially popular over the last few years so weand#39;d advise stocking up for the warmer months early before we run through our allocation.

Palate has tart strawberry, tart raspberry, minor candle wax, dried grapefruit with light tannins. Txakolina rosé tasting on the 2020 Summer Solstice, perfect for a hot/humid day in the Berkshires. Last bottle from our cellar.

The picture of freshness & about as easy to enjoy as anything out there. Mild strawberry & melon notes balanced with tense acid & that beautiful effervescent texture. Only beef is that the nose is a bit muted, but a wine we absolutely love to drink.

Light brilliant pink. Incisive, mineral-accented citrus fruit and red berry scents, along with a suave floral nuance. Silky and sharply focused on the palate, showing juicy strawberry, orange zest and mineral qualities and a deeper suggestion of peach pit. Packs a lot of flavor but comes off lithe.
