100% Tempranillo from organically farmed vineyards at 2100-3000 ft. elevation in Ribera del Douro. Juicy with dark black cherry andamp; black plum fruit, violets and spice. Delicious and balanced with no additives except minute amounts of SO2. This is a welcome departure from the region's previous signature andndash; monstrous, alcoholic, over-oaked wines. A singing wine for the money and a winning bet with grilled/roasted meats and aged cheese.
