Sipping Fine Wine
The largest Champagne house in France, founded in 1743 by Claude Moët. Interesting Moet created Ice Imperial to be enjoyed on ice. Deep yellow with tropical fruit aromas and citrus notes. On the palate peach and raspberry flavors with underlying sweetness, nice acidity ending with earthy citrus notes. Tasting Sample.

A sweet and delicious aperitif, but not a real Champagne as I define it.

On ice as recommended- nothing happening on the nose, nothing much happening any where. Tiny hints of complexity on the finish. Palette dominated by a liqueur sweetness. It's insulting that they want so much more for this than the brut NV. This could quite easily be Moët Brut imperial NV with an extra dosage. The ice works to close off any sign of real flavour if it's even there. This feels like a wine-marketers product as opposed to a winemakers thoughtful work.

It's hard to say enough bad things about this. Whether it's the cloying lack of balance, the cosmically absurd high price, or how this basically is just pissing in the mouth of the entire appellation. This, children, is why LVMH can suck it.
