Marietta Christo 2019 Syrah Grenache Petit Viognier. Dark inky purple. Blackberry, currant, savory, leather, complex, dark and rich. Drier that some recent Rhone wines I've tasted.

It’s a good wine. Not overly complex or@memorable but Love the heavy bottle. It’s been rated as high as 96 (Parker?) not remotely close to that rating. I would buy it again but it’s not special.

Lovely royal purple ink with beguiling aromatics and a pinch of violet. Heavy body with balanced acidity and tannins, lush black currants, raisin, soft leather, and tongue enticing white pepper. Delightfully long finish rivaling the length of an Italian stallion. Perfect for those seeking a well-balanced wine on the drier side to be served with red meats or any savory morcels. Enticing mix of Syrah, Grenache, Petite Sirah, and Viognier.
