Always a winner. Good acid, but depth for days. As a NV, it has the complexity of a vintage Champagne.

Brilliant. Disgorged July 2019. Powerful & generous paired up with a savory roasted tomato sauce and kept getting better through the meal. A hint of anise on the nose adds complexity and this is texturally finessed & elegant. A great balance to the powerful fruit. Finish is fresh and the wine is irresistible.

2016 base; disgorged July 2021. Egly always delivers and this is stupid good for entry grand cru. Highly aromatic, vinous in the best possible way. Pinot shines through. Fabulous texture & finish.

Legendary grower house that is powerful and precise. A sharply golden hue with little green flecks. This is all about refinement and grace. The nose is a real treat. Brioche and green apples. Light spice, brown sugar, and butter. A touch of caramel and coconut. Supremely intoxicating. 70/30 PN/CH from Grand Cru plots in Ambonnay and Verzenay. Aged 48 months and disgorged in July of 2020. This is so powerful that it puts so many other champagnes to shame. Fresh and crisp with lively acidity and perfect balance. Full bodied and complex. The palate slaps you in the face with a fancy glove. Beautiful caramel and cooked butter. Apricots, vanilla wafers, and plums. Long finish featuring spice and minerality. Just a baby but still so good. High expectations and it surpasses them. Put these away for a while and let the finesse take over.

A real wine with a real concentration. Has the transparency of the best natural wines and the completeness of the best Burgundy wines.
