From magnum, the nose of the night, this was pure and opulent, an enthralling perfume of florals, cherry, currants, sandalwood, and light toast. The palate was textbook Margaux, showing a feminine side that was medium to full bodied, wonderful balance and a long finish that sails along gracefully.

2006, bright red fruit almost vibrant approach. Mineral finish, but disappointingly quick finish

A restrained Margo, beautiful balance, lighter-bodied than expected. Have not had many 06 Bdx.

Beautiful example of Chateaux Margaux. Half bottle of ‘06 is very approachable now. Soft, elegant, wonderful

From magnum...took a while but opened up nicely. Great texture and just the right combination of earth & spices

Nice nose fresh and smoked aromas, tanins are a little bit firm typical from the vintage but a little bit disappointed.
