Owned by Château Calon Ségur. A blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot & 4% Petit Verdot and aged in 60% new oak. Fresh red fruit aromas, with aromatic herb spice. On the palate black cherries and plums, cacao, rustic herbs and earthy tones. Fine gripping tannins, nice balance ending with earthy mineral tones and fruit finish. Nice value. Tasting Sample.

Pop and pour. Stewed plum, eucalyptus, tar, wet forest leave, and anise. Deep, rich and powerful on the palate. Dark berry fruits, chalky yet Integrated tannins, cedar box undertones. Decant for 1+ hour. Pair with fatty meats. Lots of life and room for improvement with clearing.
