Powerful and concentrated, it's all there but not exactly my style.. Nevertheless a style that is pleasing.

Had this wonderful, extraordinary bottle with turkey for new year’s eve... an excellent way to bid farewell to 2017. Probably the best bottle I had this year, very structures while elegant and souple in mouth. The nose is marvellous too

2009 is wonderful right away.. Lovely peppery and deep cherry tones with dry finish.. Dennis's favorite and he even noticed the bottle in the train scene in Casino Royale movie!

Enjoyed a half-bottle of 2009 Château Angélus with Jean-Bernard Grénie. This is a great vintage of Angélus, but it couldn't be more different than the 2010. While the 2010 is powerful, incredibly concentrated, and with big-time structure, the 2009 (albeit from a more evolved half-bottle) is much more lush and accessible. The fruit is super-ripe, full of plum, blackberry, and blueberry. Lots of minerality, truffle, and espresso. Should be fun to compare the 2009 and 2010 over the upcoming decades

Well nigh impossible to enjoy at this stage. The Cabernet Franc (50%) behaves like an iron fist.
