The 2014 Clio is a highly satisfying blend of Monstrall and Cabernet Sauvignon from Bodegas El Nido. The perfumed nose slowly develops after extended air contact. The palate is rich and mineral driven, yielding intense blueberry compote, crème de cassis and Turkish coffee flavors that all culminate into a long, lingering, dark-fruit driven finish. Well-balanced, opluent and seductive, this gorgeous wine has the tension to cellar well over next fifteen years. Drink 2019-2033- 93

Winery is owned in collaboration with Chris Ringland, Jorge Ordonez, Miguel Gil and others and located in the Valley of La Aragona inside the Murcia district of Jumilla. Very dark almost purple with floral fruit aromas & gentle spice. On the palate blueberry & sweet black cherry flavors, savory with great velvet mouthfeel. 24 months aging on French & American oak, the 70% Monastrell and 30% Cab Sauvignon has fine tannins with earthy mineral tones on a lingering finish. A Fav! The ‘15 is drinking great now!

Red cherry color. Balsamic, spicy, aged fruit on smell. Long acidity, very well balanced, silky on mouth. A great choice for our 5th wedding anniversary. Keep it safe until a great celebration comes. To pair with red meat. Great!

Warm, dark fruit and baking spices. Reminds me of brambleberry pie.
