A dark amber in colour. A 50/50 blend of 2 Sicilian white grape varieties - Grecanico and Insolia. This is an Orange wine fermented on skins, in Concrete vats. Barb and I visited COS Winery In Sicily a few years ago and saw all of this process. I don’t believe wines like this benefit in any way from cellaring. We enjoyed this 107 weeks ago - see previous Delectable note when it had delicious notes of apricot and honey - now largely subdued.

50/50 blend of Grecanico and Inzolia. Fermented on Skins 42 days in concrete vats - an “orange “ Wine. Actually pale to mid Gold in colour. Aromas of Apricot with a touch of honey while there is dried fruit and nuts on palate finishing with a little bitterness from the Skins. Enjoyable and different.
