Stiffly structured red fruit with remarkable intensity. A focused weight that is powerful without being overbearing. Lavender. Tobacco. Tannins expectantly jagged in its youth. Enjoyable with a period of time spent in the decanter but just isn't ready. One worth revisiting down the line.

2010. I’ve never had this wine before, but I’ve had a bottle of the 2007 vintage in my cellar for a long time, so I thought I would see what the 2010 was like… decanted for only 30 minutes or so, it was bright and clear with no signs of age. The typical Nebbiolo aromas were there, but seemed restrained a bit. The savory flavors, lighter body, and higher acidity paired great with my seekh kabobs. I don’t think I have to hurry on my 2007, but with more air, I’m sure it will be delicious.

Perfect cherry nose, flavor is peppery. This bottles tannins were a little harsh, but still a great bottle.

Spicy on the nose then silky blend of plums, dark cherries and chocolate. Tannins in the finish. Really lovely
