A big Cabernet (83 percent) but not over the top. Great with a steak. Blackberry on the palate. Also has 8 percent Malbec, 6 percent Cab Franc, 3 percent Petit Verdot. At 10 years old, Tannins have smoothed a lot, but more aging possible. October 2023.

Could be my new favorite Napa Cab! Aromatics of black fruit, tobacco, stone, cedar and baking spices. Long finish, well-balanced tannins and acidity. Paired with a prime rib, Yorkshire pudding and brussels sprouts.

Drinking a Napa Valley icon tonight! A deep ruby color with medium intensity notes of dark fruit and baking spices on the nose. Beautiful tastes of blackberry jam, black cherries, blueberries, vanilla, dark chocolate and cinnamon. Fantastically integrated wine with silky smooth sweet tannins, perfectly ripe fruit and outstanding acidity. A long, fruity finish with a little tannic mouthfeel at the end that says this wine is still very young and could be even better 25 or more years from now. WOW!
