Tonights wine is the 2019 Villa Sparina Gavi di Gavi. On the nose the notes are one of lemon, green apple, pear, banana, herbs and minerals. On the palate I am getting lemon, green apple, saline, chalky minerality and a flinty note. This wine is medium bodied with a creamy mouthfeel, medium + acidity and a long fresh crisp citrus mineral finish. Have a great week ajd please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia!

At first, I didn’t get it. Reminded me of Pino Grigio for a split second and then…I wasn’t sure. Drink some more and you get those apple notes and some mineral notes. Grew on me. Definitely dry.
