Plump elegance that just nails every detail and sticks the landing. Best young Pomerol I have tasted ever?

Needs about a 2 hour decant to fully come alive. Stunning Pomerol. Merry Christmas!

Juicy with nice floral notes on the nose. Lilac and lavender. Just a hint on the nose.

beginning to enter its drinking window. Nice aromatics and acidity but still a tad young

Lovely a perfect Friday night wine. It’s well rounded and super long smooth finish. Well balanced and elegant - nice crushed berries and black cherries on the nose. Love it.

Mme Pere-Verge managed to bring back to life Chateau Le Gay. 2008 has all the black fruit, secondary notes and minerality you might expect from a great Pomerol. This is a really fine, elegant and great drinking wine as we speak, but no rush. If you love elegant and mineral Pomerol this is your call.

An elegant predominantly merlot based Bordeaux very well paired with French bistro cuisine. Nice tannins and medium finish. Drank on March 8, 2019....has many years left in it.
