From the stark landscape of Lanzarote, Taro's Blanco is comprised mostly of Listan Blanco and Malvasia Volcanica, along with a bit of Diego, from three different Pagos - Chibusque, Frías and La Vegueta. The grapes were hand-harvested on the same day and fermented together, but with different treatments: the fruit from Chibusque was destemmed and pressed, while the fruit from Frías and La Vegueta was not destemmed and fermented with the skins.. It's soft, beautifully textured and shows incredible volcanic character, yet does so in a very sophisticated and elegantly charming way. This is perhaps the most elevated white from Lanzarote we've ever tasted, and is something you don't want to miss (while we have it).
