Verdicchio is one of the world's totally underappreciated varietals, and the best examples of it, like this one from Terralibera, show everything you could look for in a refreshing and complex white wine. They produce just two wines in Castelli di Jesi, and this Terralibera is the more linear and aromatic of the two, and it still offers all of that fabulous seaside minerality and deep nuance in generous amounts.
