Terralibera da solo Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC Classico Superiore 2023

Verdicchio is one of the world's totally underappreciated varietals, and the best examples of it, like this one from Terralibera, show everything you could look for in a refreshing and complex white wine.  They produce just two wines in Castelli di Jesi, one from each of their two plots, each with different exposures and soil compositions.  This Da Solo comes from a NW-facing site with clay/sand soil and is deeply complex with briny/mineral/cheesy and textured nuance to the max.   Vintage: 2023 Country: Italy Region: Le Marche Appellation: Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore Grape: Verdicchio Farming: Organic, Biodynamic Drink: Now-2028
