The bright, juicy and all around ebullient Rosé Secco from Ulli Stein is Pinot Noir in its most playful form. Lovely berry fruit, minerals and spice are interwoven and held aloft by the jubilant bubbles, making this the kind of wine that'll get you invited to every rooftop party. Yeah...good stuff... Great rosé for a Thanksgiving spread, although it’s a little early (from MCF Rare Wine’s list). Dry and lightly effervescent with a handy reusable bottle cap. Minerals and hay on the nose, currant, sour watermelon candy, dried grass. I’ve had a Stein Riesling before, and the fruit also had a hard candy-like quality. Quality Mosel producer!
