Montenidoli's Rosato is made entirely of the Canaiaolo grape, and is as delicately pale and graceful as anything you'll find. On the palate, the soft pink fruits are restrained, tautly structured and perfectly balanced, the slightly herbaceous tint lingers on the racy, tart finish. It's very much a purist's rosé in the way it manages to express Canaiolo's natural softness and fruitiness through a lens of focus and acidity, with that ineffable sense of Tuscan elegance.
