Ryan and Megan (RYME) Glaab do wonderful things with old world varietals in CA. They make two different Vermentino, one of whic, the'His', is styled after Ryan's love of skin contact whites. This beauty, the 'Hers', is made in the fresher style of Portofino or Sardegna. Bright, sunny and floral, it's always been a favorite of ours here, and we're very excited to have it back on the shelf! The 2021 Vermentino Las Brisas Hers is done in a bright, steely style that emphasizes freshness. Citrus peel, flowers and bright varietal character lend notable inner perfume to complement the wine's focused, vibrant personality. Vermentino Hers Corsican style 50/50 Stainless steel/neutral oak, almost natural wine, foot tread. Lemon candy drop. Lean and angular. Crushed wet stone, fainted hints of green herbs/grass. Acidity 5. Medium finish on acid - zippy acidity.
