Rihaku Sake Brewery Origin of Purity Junmai Ginjo Genshu Namazake NV

$48

Omachi (rice) is Japan's oldest known pure rice strain (i.e. non-crossbred) and was widely used over a century ago is sake brewing. This genshu (undiluted sake) is clean, creamy and complex; it doesn't get purer than that!

As this warmed above 50 degrees the flavors became quite complex and interesting. Herbal, vegetal, but unique and distinct flavors came out. Creamy in texture with umami in spades. Excellent

Silky, dry-yet-fruity medium-full body with good depth and balance, refreshing after a day of meeting. Li Bao is a famous poet from Tang Dynasty, he was alcoholic.
