Another TRB made wine. For just arriving yesterday I’d say its pretty good. I’ll hold the other 2 for a bit Winery notes, The 2016 QTR Cabernet Sauvignon is a resoundingly bold, seductive wine. In the glass the wine displays a completely opaque royal purple hue with a deep violet halo on the periphery. Upon closer inspection, aromatic notes suggest black cherry, lilac oil, allspice, and macerated blueberries. The palate experience is densely layered with raspberry compote, baker’s dark chocolate, crushed rock, and lavender. The mouth feel of this wine has a finely structured set of tannins that provide a nice framework and a mouth-watering acidity that draws out the finish for some time.
