Paul et Marie Jacqueson Rully Chardonnay 2024

$52

Paul Jacqueson has followed in his father’s footsteps keeping the Burgundian Village of Rully firmly on the viticultural map in the excellent value area of the Côte Chalonnaise. Father, and then son, have been pushing the envelope of quality for well over 50 years, and daughter Marie is working in the winery, after finishing her studies in the renowned viticultural school in Beaune. The small Domaine of Henri and Paul Jacqueson has been the “Jewel” of Rully for a considerable time. Paul is known for an almost obsessive, meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of the Domaine, which he is passing down to his daughter. The fruit for the 2024 Rully Rouge is from Chaponnières and La Barre. The result? An attractive, open, and deliciously perfumed nose. The palate shows good tension and vibrancy with plenty of cherry and strawberry fruit. An easy, attractive style. Vintage: 2024 Country: France Region: Burgundy Sub-Region: Côte Chalonnaise Appellation: Rully  Grape: Pinot Noir Farming: Organic Drink: Now-2030 ABV: 13%
