This Langhe Rosso is a fabulous example of how blending red Piedmontese varietals can result in stellar reds (we need to see this more often).  A blend of Barbera and Freisa, this beauty shows earthy, generously ripe berries expertly balanced by a healthy dose of acidity, all on a medium weight, velvety palate with great texture (more than it should have, for the price) and a fresh, vibrant finish.  One of the best examples of Langhe Rosso we've seen in a while!   Vintage: 2022 Country: Italy Region: Piedmont Appellation: Langhe Grapes: Barbera, Freisa Farming: Organic Drink: Now-2028 ABV: 14.5%
