The Coste di Rose in 2021 is, as usual, flat out lovely. From the steep, sandstone-soiled site in Monforte, this wine is often described as the 'one that will drink early on'...which I think is a bit of a backhanded compliment...as if to say 'this one's good, but it's not as powerful as the other two'. I think that's a lame-o take. This is a gloriously charming, high-toned, red-fruited, floral-to-the-max expression of Barolo, aka a style of Barolo I love...and the 2021 is lights out. In other words, get this one before everyone comes to their senses on it Vintage: 2021 Country: Italy Region: Piedmont Appellation: Barolo Grape: Nebbiolo Farming: Certified Organic Drink: Now-2035
