Flavio Roddolo Dolcetto d'Alba Superiore 2017

Roddolo is one of Piemonte's unsung masters and, as good as his Barolo and Barbera are, I think Dolcetto might be his true calling, and this Superiore bottling is his true masterstroke.  Deep, profound, muscular and packed with all manner of Dolcetto nuance, this is a serious vin de garde, and probably the best Dolcetto on the market.  Yeah...
