Friulano is an incredibly mutable grape that, if left to its own devices, defaults to producing large amounts of light, unremarkable wine - but in the deliberate hands of Ferlat Silvano, it is full of personality. Here, the elusive aromatics of Friulano are fully present: jasmine flower, ripe pear, and golden apple, with a round mouthfeel on the palate. Though totally dry, the fruits carry into the finish along with notes of white almond and a subtle mineral vein. Gentle yet robust, with pleasantly refreshing acidity.
