Golden color. Pear, stone fruit on the nose. Good amount of acidity. Taste of apples.

currently working a piece about aligote so, naturally, had to pick up. this is a gorgeous lesson in how much the varietal can perform in the right hands. plenty of luscious lemon curd and hazelnut happening here but the acid is so profound and well integrated it's hard to parse whether the fruit set is overripe or underripe. i associate this quality of tension with much higher end white burgs and yet this bottle was on the shelf for $49. what a bargain and what a lovely wine. no reason to not buy this.
