Upon opening, rather austere with very restrained fruit, but nicely subtle and balanced. Dry acidic finish, medium body. Let’s see what happens in a few hours. Follow up: Wow, this really blossoms after an hour or so open! Dried raspberry, cranberry, current… the red fruit comes out, but the finish remains the same. Excellent old world Pinot.
