The Vigne Blanche parcel has a high chalk/limestone component to its soil, hence the name ‘White Vines’. This is one I’m always particularly fond of, for the linear, focused, chiseled profile, and lively, fragrant character that the ‘white’ soils endow it with. The resulting tension makes for a wonderfully-balanced wine.
