Light pigment extraction, purple red. Sulfites on nose, tutti frutti, black currant and blackberry flavors with seed tannins on finish. Tart blueberry aftertaste. Very fresh or “new”, indeed, but fun. Pair with turkey, pie or s’mores (why not?), anything rustic or autumnal.
