This lovely wine has been a favorite at MCF since we first opened, and was my gateway drug into wonderful world of the high-altitude, sandy-soiled Grenache in the foothills of the Sierra del Gredos outside Madrid.  Think of all the lovely dark fruit, spice and rocky minerality of an old school Grenache, but with texture and transparency of a light-bodied Pinot Noir.  So delightful...
