The nose on the ‘21 Areio e Vento e Amor hits you from 5 ft away, full of ripe fruit but also chocolate, mushroom, and brush. It’s a translucent purple with a touch of Evangelho dusty-ness in the glass. Smooth and balanced with mild tannins at first, it opened up in the glass and alongside food to some intense berry jam and pepper flavors.
