The Marion estate covers 25 hectares in the valley of Marcellise, just outside Valpolicella's Classico zone. The Campedelli family have owned this land since 1986, but only began bottling relatively recently, in 1995. The traditionally-made wines have won fans including legendary producer Romano dal Forno, who knows a thing or two about making Valpolicella in all its guises. The Amarone is a powerful, intense wine with great richness nicely cut through by fresh savoury notes.
