Located in northern Piedmont on the sunny hills of Novara, just south of the Alps, the Arlunno family owns the Cantalupo winery and produces Nebbiolo and Vespolina-based wine under the Ghemme appellation. The style of the Northern Piedmont wines is not as full or powerful as the Alba reds, the Nebbiolo manifesting itself as a delicate and ethereal wine, with more red fruit and spice elements, though never short on depth or intensity of flavor.
