Alexander Zahel Original Eigenbau Orange Traube 2022

Made from an ancient and all but extinct varietal (Zahel may very well be the last producer making a mono-varietal expression of it) know as Orange Traube, this is one of the most unique white wines you'll encounter.  It's highly aromatic and racy, yet wonderfully citric, almost tropical, too.  Even though it's not an 'orange' wine, there are a lot of similarities to one.  Very cool stuff.   Vintage: 2022 Country: Austria Region: Vienna Grape: Orange Traube Farming: Certified Organic/Regenerative Drink: Now-2027
