Agusti Torello Mata XIC Penedes Xarel-lo 2024

This is a wonderful alternative to your typical crisp Summer whites.  It's made of 100% Xarel-Lo, the white Catalan grape most known as a component of the sparkling wines of the region.  Here, it makes for a super-racy, linear and nervous white that invigorates the palate with a lively edge and terrific underlying aromatic and mineral elements.  It's both surprisingly complex, and incredibly refreshing.  It screams for fresh seafood, but is also perfect as an aperitif.   Vintage: 2024 Country: Spain Region: Catalunya Appellation: Penedès Grape: Xarel-Lo Farming: Organic Drink: Now
