Berries, compot and cassis. The nose of this suggested that it was going to be a bit hot but ended up being really well balanced...a nod to its pedigree. Trinoro really does make excellent wines! Great for a Friday night with pasta

2020 vintage, Nose: strawberry, red rope licorice, plum, dark cherry (things I LOVE). Taste: low acid, some tannins but not overly drying, fruity yet not over the top because the tannins and 14.5 % alcohol keep it in check, along with hints of leather and spice. I paid $32 but it drinks like a $60 bottle, especially if compared to Bordeaux with the same grapes. Good value.
