In a great place now. Wonderful, shimmering nose of yellow fruits, elite minerals, chiseled out of clouds, apple, but like some insane applesauce. So refined so pretty. Palate has an elegant density and such refinement. This is a much more impressive wine than the Syrah for me. I‘ve tasted a lot of St. Joseph white and this really is distinctive and great. And with proper age it’s truly a wonder. The Syrah is great but not as interesting as the white. There’s my hot delectable take! The length is remarkable as is the treacly element combined with the cake icing element makes the texture just lift this wine into the stratosphere.

Light, bright yellow. Meyer lemon, pear nectar and jasmine scents show fine definition and pick up suggestions of tarragon and beeswax with air. Lively and precise on the palate, offering pliant citrus and orchard fruit flavors and a deeper suggestion of nectarine that builds on the back half. Shows very good clarity and mineral cut on the strikingly long finish, which leaves a sexy floral note behind. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, May 2020)

Faintly faulty. Something is off. Too pungent, on nose and tongue.
