I expected more from this wine...from this vineyard. Very acidic...almost astringent...not complete. The best sip was the last, leaving me hopeful that perhaps with more time it may evolve. Though, neither complex nor whole from my one bottle tasting.

From Magnum bought at Wally's in LA years ago. Earth and coffee notes. Herbaceous undertones which perhaps disturbed in previous years fully resolved. Still great the next day. Plenty of tannins left for more years to come although i think this wine is at its peak now. Dark tart blackberries and chalk. The 2006 is mostly gone based on wine searcher.
