Getting past it's prime, a lot of oak and acid has diminished. Still tasty though.

Gravelly texture, mineral with a more rounded finish. Citrus. Quite lovely.

Delicious and deep. Starting to show notes of honey and hazelnut, but retaining elements of mango and subtle tropical fruit.

Edged out Amici in the fact that this one is very bright and acidic from the top and keeps on developing. Bright, bright front of lemon and limestone. Middle is dense and almost has a tangerine, lemon, pineapple kind of line to it. Finish was less expressive and while the 14 Amici is weighted to the back, this is weighted to the front. This will continue to develop over the next 3 to 5 years.

Lemon oil and apricots on the nose. Good weight with an oily texture (a la Meursault). Just enough oak to balance the fruit and acidity.

From the same row of vines since 1995. Such amazing acidity; rare for Cali.

Fire out of the gate so I had high hopes. Now showing pretty poorly on day 2. There's hints of something there but too wound up.
