Two hours decant, still wanting more time in bottle and decanter. Nose of fresh cranberry, dried strawberry and wet Earth. Palate is full on dried, yet moist cranberry, orange zest, dried cherry. Medium tannins. This wine is still so young, needing more time (2-3Y?) to open and reveal itself. 24hr Update: Beautiful dried cherry/strawberry aspects, this bottle has years to go still.

Love this vintage. Nose of earth, minerals, sweet cherry fruit, cranberry, strawberry. So complex. Really layered and so delicate on the aromas. Palate is taut and structured out of the gates but has such nice finesse and delicacy to it. Some firm tannins but they are so well done. I’d decant for 1.5 hours or wait a few more years.

What can I say, the kids are right, these are great! Even the basic Pinot is fantastic. Very soft and accessible. The liaison is more focused than the base Pinot.... loads of red berries and subtle earth. Very aromatic.
