Needs time to integrate more, good potential.

Best tempier rose I’ve had in a while. Intense savory watermelon mineral salinity acidity and structure. Fantastic.

Consistently delivers (although price continues to inch up) and classically styled. For me, this rosé always has a great texture…never too flabby nor sharp in acidity, perfect marriage. Cool peach, nectarine and honeysuckle aromatics, and more of the same on the palate with added blood orange, yet the finish turns more herbal/mineral driven. I followed this over two days and it was a delight each time. I know they can age, but definitely easy ones to drink early on.

A rosé that will rock your socks off from the legendary producer Domaine Tempier, Brilliant wine from start to finish. Vivid nose with fresh red berries and a zesty, grape-like bitterness, orange blossom and a whole bunch of fresh herbs over a canvas of wet stones. Fresh and bright palate with a stoney , mineral nerve that cuts through the pronounced fruit concetration and the slight creamy viscosotiy, a layered complexity through a long stimulating finish. As good as the legend goes, unfortunaltely a challenge to get your hands on.

Light orange-pink. Expressive, mineral-accented orange zest, red currant, nectarine and succulent floral and herb aromas take on a spicy nuance with air. Lively and sharply focused in the mouth, offering concentrated red berry, pit fruit, tangerine and honeysuckle flavors and a hint of tarragon. The mineral and floral notes drive an impressively long, precise finish that leaves white peach and spice notes behind. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, July2021)

So lovely with a bit of age. The baby fat has sloughed off, leaving a dense herbaceous core with light tannin. Evocative.
